Original 26&2 90 min

Adapted from the 84 Hatha Yoga postures, original 26&2 yoga, designed for all levels, is practiced in a heated room and consists of 26 unique yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises. The postures are to be executed in the correct sequence, as they are devised scientifically to address every part of the body one by one. Each posture prepares the body for the next, each following posture gains from the previous. Take in the beautiful views from our new outdoor yoga space. 

It is a challenging and fun class that helps you to increase flexibility and energy, improve strength, reduce stress, and maintain the balance of your emotional and physical body. The class is suitable for all levels and safe for practitioners with injuries.

Original 26&2 60 min

A condensed version of 90 minutes Original 26&2, this 60-minute hot yoga class comprises preforming the same postures, once or twice, in the same sequence. Accumulating the same mental, physical and spiritual benefits to your body, the class is suitable for all levels, from beginners to experts. Enjoy a class at our outdoor yoga space.

Yin 60min & 75min

This class is the blend of two styles of yoga into one practice. Yin is more internal, passive, cooling and downward. Yang is more external, dynamic, warming and upward.

Inferno Hot Pilates 60min

Inferno Hot Pilates is a High-Intensity Interval Taining workout using the Pilates principles (Concentration, Control, Centering, Precision, Breath, and Flow).

Hot Pilates is a whole body workout, but focuses on lean muscle mass, muscle toning and cardio. The class is taken in a heated room (30 degrees) to warm up your body quickly, make the workout challenging, get your heart pumping, and to help you burn a lot more calories.

If you participate in this class regularly, you are sure to get and be in good shape.
Be prepared to sweat, have fun and build a stronger you. This may be a challenging workout, but you will feel amazing for sure! The class is suitable for all fitness levels. Join a class at our beautiful outdoor fitness space on one acre of outdoor land!

Inferno 45

A 45-minute, full-body workout class when you need a quick fix or are running short on time. The practice will include interval training exercises and 45 seconds moves to get your heart rate elevated and your body in action. Squats, burpees, mountain climbers, and planks are just a few exercises that you can expect to see yourself doing. Practiced in a heated room, the class is challenging, fun and suitable for all levels. Come enjoy your class at our gorgeous outdoor yoga space!

Aerial Yoga 60 min

Aerial Yoga is all about decompressing the spine and re-aligning the body. In this class, we utilize the principles of traditional yoga and Pilates. The aerial hammock acts as the ultimate “spotter”, allowing everyone no matter their fitness level, to perform Zero-Compression Inversions.

In this low-impact cardiovascular conditioning exercise, you can achieve increased flexibility, core strengthening, muscle toning, and enhanced joints mobility throughout your body. Specifically speaking, the benefits of inversions are numerous. They hydrate the vertebral discs, re-align the spine, and refresh the circulatory system.

The class, carried out in a non-heated room, is sure to release you of stress and anxiety, and fill you with inspiration and energy. Be prepared to hang upside down during the class, finishing it with a peaceful savasana rocking in your hummock fully wrapped into a soft silk. This class is not suitable for people who had vertigo, high blood pressure or eye conditions. Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to class start time. No late comers. Suitable for Age 13+. Due to limited capacity, we are not offering Free Class Pass to Youth.

BodyBarre 60min

BodyBarre is the combination of ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements. It is the safest way to workout where the primary focus is on strengthen accessory muscles around the joints. If you are dreaming about functional and lean muscle and toned body, this is the right place to be. This class is suitable for all levels. Enjoy our Body Barre classes from our new outdoor fitness space.

 

BodySculpt 60 min

Each class sequence is built on HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and focused on sculpting and toning the whole body. The Sculpt part builds long and lean muscle mass where Bands part is a resistance training workout targeted to lift and shape your best “asset” while toning and strengthening the hips. This based formula is seamlessly blended with static yoga poses to stretch and release the muscle group used during high intensity rounds. Suitable for everyone. Enjoy our outdoor fitness classes from our new one-acre outdoor setting. 

Spin 45 min

The Spin Bar offers structured, high energy, full body workout classes designed to burn calories, increase stamina, and build muscle. With every pedal stroke our experienced and dedicated instructors will lead you to a stronger version of yourself. When we ride together you will experience a “nightclub meets spin bar” environment.

With our customized LED floor and the most amazing handpicked playlists by our talented instructors, we are riding and vibing to the beat of the music.

Our bikes have been designed, pre-tested and ordered directly from the manufacturer to fit all rider’s needs. We have combined the best for you: magnetic resistance with 40 pound flywheel; to deliver you a smooth and a comfortable ride. Shimano Pedaling Dynamics (SPD) pedals; that allow you to pedal with greater efficiency, stability and comfort. Clipping in provides a secure connection and engages more leg muscle with each pedal stroke. Lock in your spin shoes. They’re available for rent at the studio or bring your own pair.

Power Vinyasa 60 min

This heat-building class encourage you to explore your limits and challenge your practice through dynamic and continuous flows that build strength and increase endurance.

Power Vinyasa is a full-body experience that will not only develop your athleticism, but also provide the mental benefits of a breath-based practice. Prepare to leave feeling strong and empowered. Suitable for all levels. Our outdoor yoga classes are the best way to practice your skills while enjoying the scenery hosted at our new one-acre outdoor class setting. 

Classic Pilates 60 min

Pilates is a full body, low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. Pilates moves tend to target the core, although the exercises work other areas of your body as well.

The moves are simple, but they take precision and control with a strong emphasis on technique. Your goal should be to take your time with the exercises, focus on the task at hand, and connect to your breath.

You’ll get stronger, more sculpted muscles and gain flexibility. You may also have better posture and a better sense of well-being. Great for beginners or people with injuries. Our outdoor yoga classes are the perfect way to indulge in nature while moving the body. 

Hot Prana 60 min

Created and developed right here in British Columbia, based on nearly twenty years of experience. This class offers a blend of Power Flow, the Bikram method, and an upper body strengthening series that is suitable for all levels, including beginners. It is a vibrant, full of energy, and quick pace class that will leave you very energized and naturally boosted. Our current outdoor yoga classes offer a beautiful one-acre scenic view for Prana. 

Yoga Nidra 60 min

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful mediation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. While the practitioner rests comfortably in Savasana, this systematic meditation takes you through the five layers of self, leaving you with a sense of wholeness.

In a typical Yoga Nidra session, a teacher guides the practitioner through several stages. You start by developing an intention for your life and for the practice; then you learn to focus your awareness on your breath, bodily sensations, emotions, and thoughts.

Benefits of Yoga Nidra has revealed improvements in emotional self- regulation—with reduced levels of depression, stress, and anxiety—and an increase in mood, quality of life, and well-being. So, put your PJ’s on, bring your blanket, and join us for this restful and peaceful class; sometimes guided with the sound of the crystal bowls. White Rock has been her home for the past three years, and it is here that she’s found a community of like-minded people to share her passion for yoga and fitness with. Oxana Kirsanova
Oxana was born and raised in Russia, where she spent most of her childhood dancing and playing sports. After graduating from a law school, she moved to Canada with two suitcases to start a new journey. White Rock has been her and her two sons’ home since 2013.

Oxana holds multiple certificates such Bikram Yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates L.1 & L.2, Barre, Spin, Aerial, and LAAB, Bio Energy Healing L.1

Her classes will get you in the best shape you have ever been in. With that smirk on her face, she brings the warrior out of you.

This class is an active stretching class that targets primary muscle groups surrounding the hips, hamstrings, and upper back. This class begins with warm up movements to build heat and prepare the muscles for stretching. Most poses are done on the floor and using straps and blocks for maximum deep stretch. Suitable for all levels. 
Masha Merchant
Masha was born in Russia. She built a successful career as a TV-journalist and a TV-host and then turned her life upside down and started her yogi journey.
 
Masha has been living, studying and teaching yoga, in different corners of the world. She finished her first 200 hours teacher training in Moscow (Russia), then got 35 hours of Aerial yoga in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), 50 hours of Yin yoga and 300 hours advanced teacher training in Vancouver. (Canada). Now she is 500 RYT and continuing education provider with Yoga Alliance. She also leads Aerial Teacher Training at TYB. 

Her classes are dancing and flowing with emphasis on the experience of breath power, energy and sensation within. She teaches Vinyasa, Aerial, Stretch, Restorative, Sound Bath, Yoga Nidra.
 
Masha blends all her knowledges to create a unique elixir of life to her students and inspire each student’s playfulness, joyful creativity and light-heartedness within the practice.

Her favourite things to do is to sit long in nature and spend time with animals, especially horses.
 
The most challenging thing for Masha is everything where patience is needed. It has been her personal battle since childhood.
 
Masha will never tell you as a student how she really feels. She believes that every teacher shall leave the emotions behind the door and create a safe and peaceful environment from the bottom of the heart. Thus we all learn to be present.

Anh Ly
Anh was born in Vietnam. She came to Canada at the age of 3. She was a troubled teenager and got herself into a drug addiction in her late teens. In 2002, she had a traumatic brain injury from the drug that left her in a paralyzed state. Doctors said she would have the intelligence of a 2yr old child and that she would never walk again.
 
She stayed in the hospital for 6 months and continued to fight her way through, making the impossible possible.
 
Since then she became a Bikram teacher. Competed in yoga competitions. Competed in 5 bodybuilding bikini shows, where she had placed in each show. She won first place for open and master’s for the BC cup in 2018.
 
She is certified in Bikram, Yin, Yoga Nidra, RAD roller 1, Pyropilates, Inferno Hot Pilates, and Breathwork. She is also certified in energy healing including Akashic Healing 1, 2, Mastery, Gold and Kundalini Reiki Master, Jikiden Okuden (traditional Reiki level 2), and Angel attunementsAnh’s favourite thing to do: Teaching and practicing What is Anh’s biggest challenge? Nu Prana Description
“If you are not getting better, you are getting worse, because nothing ever stays the same” says Marcus Rummery, the creator of Nu Prana.
Exclusively taught at The Yoga Bar, this is not your ordinary yoga class. Built on the Bikram sequence, with the elements of Power Flow, Dharma talk and life drum music at the end, is what makes this class so unique, you won’t find it anywhere else.
This class is suitable for all fitness levels and beneficial for people with injuries, sleep issues, and high stress levels. You will feel energized, positive and very focused for the rest of the day. 
Marcus Rummery
Born in Pinawa, Manitoba, Marcus was an all-star high school football player, but suffered a severe injury to his spine. A writer and musician, when he moved to Vancouver in 2001 with his band Evoke, he needed some back healing as well as a day job. He got both when he started to do Bikram yoga a few days after 9/11.
 
By June of the next year he was teaching, which he did full time until 2017. In 2014 Marcus debuted Hot Prana, which maintains the 26&2 in a condensed format, adds music, upper-body strengthening, power-flow and personal development philosophy based on yoga, as well as his studies on psychology. In 2016, he led a teacher training in the new form. In 2017 he completed his yin training and began singing and playing guitar while teaching in that format as well. (Cool Qi)He is certified in Bikram, YHot, YPower, YRestorative, Yin & Qi Gong
He teaches Hot Prana, Nu Prana, Cool Qi (guitar yin), Spin and Yoga Nidra. Marcus’ classes are very energetic and powerful. He has so much knowledge and passion that you can hear in every word he says. He takes you to the place you never been before.  
His favourite thing to do – is a legit. Hot and hard yoga class with my partner, then have dinner and go see a band. 
The thing that challenges him the most is being still in yin poses, also yoga studio owners.

Jennifer Van Staveren
Jen is a B.C. girl through and through. She was born and raised in our beautiful Province. After a few years of living in California while obtaining a Business Degree she returned, got married and is raising her two kids here.
 
Jen holds certificates in Inferno Hot Pilates L1, Spin and LAAB.
Her classes is all about “Do It”. She keep everyone focused, with no distructions, her cuing is right to the point, there is no place where you will take it easy. And if you try, she will send you “the look”. No one can hide in Jen’s classes. 
 
 
Her most favourite thing to do is hang out by the water. Swimming, paddle boarding and boating are all favourite activities, but she also has a true love for being physically active whether it’s in a fitness studio or outside in nature.
 
Her biggest challenge has been becoming a parent.
 
She will never tell you how much she hates being on social media….oh wait, yes she will.

Malena was born in Vancouver, and raised in White Rock B.C. There is nothing that excites her more than being outdoors and in nature. Wether it’s being in the ocean, lake, river, or up in the mountains…you name the activity, and she’s there ready for the adventure.

Malena is certified in Inferno Hot Pilates Level 1 and L.A.A.B. Catch her in the room for a fun time that will burn you out to leave you blissing out.

The one thing that challenges her most in her life is not eating Oxana’s nutella. Never eat Oxana’s nutella.

Marcus Rummery
Born in Pinawa, Manitoba, Marcus was an all-star high school football player, but suffered a severe injury to his spine. A writer and musician, when he moved to Vancouver in 2001 with his band Evoke, he needed some back healing as well as a day job. He got both when he started to do Bikram yoga a few days after 9/11.
 
By June of the next year he was teaching, which he did full time until 2017. In 2014 Marcus debuted Hot Prana, which maintains the 26&2 in a condensed format, adds music, upper-body strengthening, power-flow and personal development philosophy based on yoga, as well as his studies on psychology. In 2016, he led a teacher training in the new form. In 2017 he completed his yin training and began singing and playing guitar while teaching in that format as well. (Cool Qi)He is certified in Bikram, YHot, YPower, YRestorative, Yin & Qi Gong
He teaches Hot Prana, Nu Prana, Cool Qi (guitar yin), Spin and Yoga Nidra. Marcus’ classes are very energetic and powerful. He has so much knowledge and passion that you can hear in every word he says. He takes you to the place you never been before.  
His favourite thing to do – is a legit. Hot and hard yoga class with my partner, then have dinner and go see a band. 
The thing that challenges him the most is being still in yin poses, also yoga studio owners.
