Safety, Health, and Membership Policy

Welcome to The Yoga Bar! We are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming environment for all members. Please review the following safety, health, and membership policies to ensure a positive experience during your time with us.

Safety and Health Information

At The Yoga Bar, we want to ensure that every member participates safely and comfortably. Yoga is a physical activity that includes stretching, balancing, and strengthening exercises. While yoga has many health benefits, it can also involve risks of injury, particularly if proper care is not taken.

  1. Physical Capability: Before starting yoga classes, it is important to confirm that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in the activities offered. If you have any doubts, consult a healthcare provider to assess your ability to engage in physical exercise.

  2. Listening to Your Body: It is essential to listen to your body during class. If you feel any discomfort, pain, or dizziness, stop immediately and notify the instructor.

  3. Medical Consultation: If you have any pre-existing injuries, medical conditions, or disabilities, it is recommended to consult a healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program, including yoga. This ensures you are cleared for physical activity.

  4. Instructor Expertise: The instructors at The Yoga Bar are highly trained in yoga techniques but are not licensed medical professionals. They provide general advice based on yoga practice but are not qualified to offer medical guidance.

  5. Infrared Sauna Guidelines: For safety reasons, we have set a maximum time limit for infrared sauna usage. Members are not permitted to attend back-to-back 1-hour infrared heated fitness classes. The longest time allowed for consecutive fitness-based classes in the infrared sauna is 90 minutes.

Membership Commitment

Here are the key details about our membership policy:

  1. Ongoing Membership: Your membership is an ongoing monthly commitment. It will continue automatically each month until you provide written notice of cancellation.

  2. Cancellation Policy: If you wish to cancel your membership, a 30-day written notice is required. Cancellations will take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. Please note that no partial refunds will be issued for unused classes during the notice period, unless otherwise specified.

  3. Early Cancellation Fees: If you cancel before completing the 30-day notice period, you will still be charged for the full month in which the cancellation occurs.

  4. Class Schedule Changes: The Yoga Bar reserves the right to alter class schedules or change instructors at any time. No refunds or adjustments will be made due to these changes.

  5. Membership Fees: Membership fees are non-refundable and may be adjusted with prior notice. Any fee changes will be communicated to you before they take effect.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Policies

We understand that life happens, but we ask for your cooperation in managing reservations to ensure a smooth and efficient class schedule for all members.

  1. Late Cancellations: If you need to cancel a class, please do so at least 4 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 4 hours of the class start time will incur a late cancellation fee.

  2. No-Shows: If you do not attend a scheduled class without canceling in advance, a no-show fee will be charged to your account.

  3. Waitlisted Classes: If you are placed on the waitlist for a class, treat it as a confirmed reservation. If you are moved from the waitlist into the class, you will be automatically registered, and regular cancellation policies apply.

These fees will be automatically billed to your account, so please remember to cancel at least 4 hours ahead to avoid charges.

Thank you for being a part of The Yoga Bar community. We are committed to supporting your health and wellness journey, and we look forward to seeing you in class!
